For Josh and Kelsey’s engagement session, there couldn’t have been a more fitting place than the stunning and secluded Secret Slick Rock in Sedona, Arizona. Tucked away from the crowds, this hidden gem offered sweeping red rock views, dramatic textures, and an intimacy that perfectly mirrored their connection.
From the moment we arrived, the energy between Josh and Kelsey was effortless. The way they laughed together, the quiet moments where they leaned into one another, and the unspoken understanding they share made this session feel less like a photoshoot and more like documenting a real chapter of their story. That’s always the goal—images that feel lived-in, honest, and timeless.

Secret Slick Rock lives up to its name. Surrounded by Sedona’s iconic red rock formations, the smooth sandstone creates natural leading lines and open space that lets couples truly exist within the landscape. As the sun moved across the sky, the rocks shifted from warm rust tones to deep, glowing reds—an ever-changing backdrop that added depth and drama to every frame.
Josh and Kelsey fit seamlessly into the scenery. Their neutral, earth-toned outfits complemented the environment without overpowering it, allowing the focus to remain on their connection.
